Campground Rules and Safety Information

These rules and safety reminders help protect guests, visitors, staff, and the campground. Follow posted notices and any additional instructions from campground management.

Emergencies and unsafe conditions

In an emergency, call 911. The campground address is 3801 Old 60, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
Follow instructions from emergency officials and campground management.
Report unsafe conditions to campground management promptly. Do not enter or use an area that has been closed or marked unsafe.

General care and supervision

Use reasonable care around campsites, roads, the river, fires, electrical equipment, vehicles, wildlife, and changing weather.
An adult must provide appropriate supervision for children and for anyone else in their care who requires supervision.
Respect other guests, their campsites, campground property, posted notices, and instructions from campground management.
Alcohol and firearms are not permitted.
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Campsites and occupancy

Each campsite permits one tent.
Each campsite permits up to two adults.
Children do not count toward the two-adult limit, and the campground does not impose a separate limit on the number of children per site.

Arrival and departure

Overnight check-in begins at 2:00 PM.
Overnight checkout is 11:00 AM on the departure date.
Contact the campground if an emergency or delay affects your arrival.

Cancellations and refunds

Online reservations require payment of the displayed total when the reservation is made.
A cancellation requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled 2:00 PM check-in time qualifies for a full refund.
A cancellation requested less than 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time is not refundable.
This cancellation policy does not limit corrections for duplicate or unauthorized charges or any remedy required by law.

Reservation information and payment privacy

The reservation system collects the guest’s name, email address, phone number, selected campsite, stay dates, prices, reservation status, and the references needed to manage and audit the reservation.
Hillbilly Campground uses that information to process and administer the reservation and to contact the guest about it.
Payment-account details are entered on Square’s hosted checkout. Hillbilly Campground’s server does not request or store card numbers, security codes, expiration dates, or bank-account credentials.
Reservation and transaction records are retained only as needed to administer reservations and meet applicable accounting, dispute, recordkeeping, and legal obligations.
Contact Hillbilly Campground using the public phone number or email address to request a correction to reservation contact information or ask about retained reservation information.

Vehicles and golf carts

All vehicles, including golf carts, must be operated by licensed drivers.
Electric golf carts are permitted. Other ATVs are not permitted.
The campground does not provide or rent golf carts. Guests who bring an electric golf cart are charged $10 per day for charging it.

Weather, flooding, fires, and water activities

Monitor current weather and emergency alerts. River and low-lying conditions can change quickly during or after heavy rain.
Never walk, swim, or drive through floodwater. Move away from the river and other low areas when officials or campground management direct you to do so.
Campfires, grills, and other outdoor flames may be used only when and where campground management permits them. Follow every posted restriction or temporary burn ban, keep any permitted fire attended, and extinguish it completely.
A valid fishing license is required for fishing.
Follow current North Carolina requirements when boating, paddling, or fishing. A reservation does not guarantee that any particular activity or access point is open or safe.

Pets

The campground is pet-friendly, but pets must remain on a leash at all times. Pet owners must clean up after their pets and properly dispose of any waste.
